Lights of Love

Description

Every year during the Season of Advent, St. Ambrose Parish invites all parishioners to remember family and friends who have died within the past year. With a donation of $5.00, the person's name is placed on a ribbon which encircles our Advent tree. We also light a light on the tree in their memory.

All of the money collected is donated to an organization close to our hearts. Last year we sent over $1,000.00 to Baanu Ye Na Education Fund, a school in Ghana, Africa sponsored by Fr. Dominic.

Major Events
Donations for Lights of Love are accepted until November 27, 2006. The tree is lit in St. Ambrose gathering space on the First Sunday of Advent until Ephiphany Sunday. Please print form and return to any of the Winton-Culver Parish Offices.
